I love these guys when play acoustic. They're fantastic. This is one of the best performances in the archive, thank you and still thank you for the pleasure. Sound quality is wonderful, all the instruments and the voice are very clear and So many roads is at the top of my choices. I love you Dso. Great. Subject: Beautiful set, wonderful songs
This was my first listen to DSO and being a huge dead freak, I loved this acoustic set. The whole set is great, with special mention going to So Many Roads and the set closing Ripple. Thanks to the archive for posting this gem.

Subject: "so many roads to ease my soul..."
I think this is one of my favorite performances ever. I listened live as it happened on the KPFA Marathon, and had been hoping to hear a So Many Roads sometime during the marathon. It just so happened that DSO delivered, acoustic nevertheless.

This whole performance is a joy to listen to. I especially, as is obvious, recommend SMR, but I thought this performance was the highlight of the marathon and one of the cooler things I'd listened to in a long time.

Thanks to KPFA for having them and David Gans for spreading the tunes.

Subject: Differant and Sweet
A great sound to hear the Dark Star play. It sounds like older dead sound. Johns jerry is so on, i thought i was listening to the wrong show. Of course you can tell later on in the show. But there are some parts hes is totally in tune..
